Cocoa Contour- NEW from TooFaced! Review & Swatches

IMG_3342recently purchased the new Cocoa Contour from TooFaced.com, and I LOVE IT..and not just because of the packaging. Here is some information on this Contour set, that smells like chocolate;) Lets see how this kit can make you “chiseled to perfection!”

My favorite products from TooFaceIMG_3351d are their infused antioxidant-rich exclusive Cocoa complex=Chocolate scent. I hate when makeup smells like it came from a concoction of chemical..especially face products. This Contour set, comes with four contouring shades and a little booklet of 3 looks. This set also includes a adorable small contour buki brush.

The shades are said to be great on all skin tones!

Matte Highlighter-Light Cocoa

  • This shade is smooth for setting your under-eye concealer and your highlighted sections of contour. I love how this shade looks great on light/dark skin tones.

Sculpting Shades- Medium Cocoa & Dark Cocoa

  • Medium Cocoa is the cooler tone shade, which is perfect for a natural looking contour. At first it was hard to blend, but starting lightly and building it up is the best way!
  • Dark Cocoa is more of a warm toned shade. I use this to warm up my face and around my forehead. I mix the medium cocoa and dark cocoa to create a perfect contour shade for my skin tone.

Highlighter- Pop of Light

  • This highlighting shade, seems too sheer, when I apply it to my cheekbones, it looks like little sparkles that just seem to vanish after awhile of wear. I do like using this in the inner corner of my eyes to create that “pop of light.”

Swatches:

1st Swatch= Medium to Deep skin type

2nd Swatch= Light to Medium skin type

All these shades are smooth and not too thick, and not too powdery. I feel they work great with sensitive skin, and make contouring easy!
