I had a great time and loved how they turned out! My birthday was over the weekend on the 10th, but highly suggest anybody to take photos on your birthday! You will truly feel special as well have a good reason to post pictures;)
My dress is from Joie! It has the perfect amount of detail in it, I love the print and fit. My favorite part is the tie detail, you can wear tied or untied. I also love pairing this dress with booties. My favorite to pair is the Dalton from Joie in the color Whiskey.
I am trying my best not to be a “cotton headed ninny muggins” this year by trying to be more festive. In the heart of Arizona it is kind of hard to feel the holiday spirit when it is over 70 degrees during the day. Every year the winters get shorter and shorter. Despite the sunny weather, Christmas decor must go on! (more…)
Hey everyone I have teamed up with Spring, a marketplace to shop over 800 brands, to create fashionable winter go-to looks! With changing temps and winter approaching, styles are also changing. Here are some fashionable pieces that are perfect for staying warm and still being a sleek-chic-fashionista!
It is currently 75 degrees out and is cooling down for our low of 44 in Arizona today, sunny clear skies just felt like a fresh outfit was needed. I have been dying to wear my Rag & Bone dress, for quiet some time. I added some pieces to make this fresh white dress have a fall personality!
My boyfriend and I have been dating or almost 4 years, Since March 18, 2012. I was a Sophomore when he was a Senior when we started dating, that year we found out that I have never actually been to the State Fair. I went for the first time in 2011 but did not do a lot when I was there. From the first year we started dating my boyfriend, Lorenzo, promised he would take me. Well, every year we never actually got around to actually going. Everyone knows how expensive state fair’s are…we never had the money to just throw away on fried food and rides. Finally, we made the plan to go!
We went to the fair on November 5, the last Thursday before it closes on Sunday! We got there during free admission hours, and also on wristband day. It was fun to enjoy one another’s company and laugh all the weird things you come across when you go to the fair, like maple bacon donuts and a lot of people watching.
Here is an OOTD post for a finally breezy day in the fall. Arizona just had a small earthquake this past sunday, and now it is actually cool outside?! Hmm, what is going on? Anyways, Here is a layered neutral look featuring my favorite suede skirt from TjMaxx. I have always been a fan of suede but this skirt has become my favorite. Yes that is a stain on it, because I just dropped salad dressing on it during lunch..did not notice until this picture!
I am pairing this old light sweater top from Forever 21 on top of the skirt and tied it at the end. This just added a little bit of depth and chunky-ness to the outfit. This is not a vest, but it is a button down tunic, that I opened up and wore as a vest. I paired some black suede knee high boots from DSW. To top it off I added some pieces from my Rocksbox! I have been adoring anything lace up or knee high lately, which is another reason why I am extremely excited for Fall to come. I have been constantly coming across flats that lace up, so I decided it was my mission to find this fashion statement for less! As seen from Top Shop and other name brand shoes, I found an adorable dupe for the lace up flat. (more…)
I love cream shadows, especially gold toned nudes. When I was younger I had this very used up Revlon creme shadow set, of purples and pinks, I thought Revlon did not make any more like it. I stumbled across a section of these quad sets, I chose the “Not Just Nudes” and have created minimal and glam eye looks using this creme shadow set!
Simple but fun on the last day exploring LA. To end our morning before we checked out of our condo on Venice Beach. We were craving Boba and was a big part of our “things to do.” We headed to China Town, for some Boba from LolliPop. For lunch we were planning on going to a restaurant in LA but decided to try out Pho, a vietnamese dish, in China Town. Everything was so delicious! Very busy restaurant, but worth the minor chaos. I promised you all a step by step tutorial on the NYX Wonder Stick (Shade: Universal) from a previous post on the “Hit or Miss.” I believe this handy product is a HIT! It is very easy to use, especially to accomplished a contour look on-the-go! This tool is easy for first starting out in contouring, not to thick and easy to blend. Here is a breakdown of how to use the Wonder Stick!
– Apply after you put on your favorite primer and a light layer of foundation for a great base! I used my NYX angel veil and my MAC studio fix as a base.
– When blending the cheekbones blend upwards, to life the cheekbones.
– For the highlight end, since it is a shimmer highlight, apply right at the top of the cheekbones to almost the temple for a natural glow.
– To complete the look just make sure you set everything with powder, and waalaaaahhhh easy cream contour made from the Wonder Stick by NYX!
– I have been working a lot lately with two jobs, so hopefully I can get a set schedule of when to post! Until then, I hope you enjoy! New post on the way! By the way I will have many upcoming posts on outfits + more for my Cali trip in a week!:)
