Too long of a break, I know. I still have great plans and ideas in the making, but finally am back to blogging!
I wanted to share an outfit of the day with a beautiful floral printed summer top from Rebecca Taylor. I was not a fan of red until this summer, and would never want to have a red and blue mix print until I fell in love with this top! The detail of the mixed metallic silk and tie-sleeve detailing is gorgeous.
I paired the top with white skinny jeans from AG jeans and folded them to show off my sandals. The sandals are light and dark blue lace up leather sandal from Joie.
(These pictures were taken in old town scottsdale near the civic center/library).
Thank you everyone for supporting me and hope you enjoyed this summer outfit post! I am way to ready for fall to come. I mean, it was only 104 degrees today in Arizona, so its starting to cool off (hey, anything under 110.. we will take it!) Are all of you ready for fall?
Thank you all for loving my outfit posts from my recent California vacation. I have been real busy juggling life and two jobs, I have less time in the summer than I usually do. But here is a new video with a outfit that I did not post on my blog, so go right ahead and check it out:)
Talk to you all very soon! Thanks so much for the support and feedback.
I promised you all a step by step tutorial on the NYX Wonder Stick (Shade: Universal) from a previous post on the “Hit or Miss.” I believe this handy product is a HIT! It is very easy to use, especially to accomplished a contour look on-the-go! This tool is easy for first starting out in contouring, not to thick and easy to blend. Here is a breakdown of how to use the Wonder Stick!
– Apply after you put on your favorite primer and a light layer of foundation for a great base! I used my NYX angel veil and my MAC studio fix as a base.
– When blending the cheekbones blend upwards, to life the cheekbones.
– For the highlight end, since it is a shimmer highlight, apply right at the top of the cheekbones to almost the temple for a natural glow.
– To complete the look just make sure you set everything with powder, and waalaaaahhhh easy cream contour made from the Wonder Stick by NYX!
– I have been working a lot lately with two jobs, so hopefully I can get a set schedule of when to post! Until then, I hope you enjoy! New post on the way! By the way I will have many upcoming posts on outfits + more for my Cali trip in a week!:)
SOO I got my hands on The Blushed Nudes Palette. Let me just tell you, this is my favorite palette from the line! I personally am a big nudes and rose gold eye makeup fan. It is a perfect everyday look that I believe looks great on every skin tone. Here is a review and some swatches on why this is a “HIT!” Also is this $9.99 dupe to $50 Urban Decay Palette 3?
I just have a few March favorites, which are really affordable and the things I tended to grab the most! These are perfect products to use this spring, I also will be uploading a video later on today on how I created an easter look with most of these products.
I have had these two cream palettes from BhCosmetics for awhile but really had to use them in order to give a good review on them! I purchased the first one (light-medium shades) before I purchased palette two. I did not expect what I got from these palettes. (more…)
♡I think the best way to transition into spring this season, is with coverups and cardigans. Depending on your climate your cardigan can range in thickness, mine is just a very sheer long one.
I found it at TjMaxx for like $5! When at other store/boutiques they are around $30 or more! This great find can work in a variety of styles. This cardigan would look with leggings/jeans and some cute boots, for a colder spring time outfit. Also with a dress or skirt will add that “WOW” into an outfit. (more…)
This month’s Ipsy is an adorable spring theme, shown by the floral bag loaded with vivid colors of pink, blue, and yellow. On the Floral Fantasy flyer has 4 of ipsy stylists and some of my favorite youtubers. You can tell the personality is very diverse with the different types of flowers and styles. Now, lets get into all the products I received this month! (more…)
