I had a great time and loved how they turned out! My birthday was over the weekend on the 10th, but highly suggest anybody to take photos on your birthday! You will truly feel special as well have a good reason to post pictures;)
My dress is from Joie! It has the perfect amount of detail in it, I love the print and fit. My favorite part is the tie detail, you can wear tied or untied. I also love pairing this dress with booties. My favorite to pair is the Dalton from Joie in the color Whiskey.
I am trying my best not to be a “cotton headed ninny muggins” this year by trying to be more festive. In the heart of Arizona it is kind of hard to feel the holiday spirit when it is over 70 degrees during the day. Every year the winters get shorter and shorter. Despite the sunny weather, Christmas decor must go on! (more…)
Hey everyone I have teamed up with Spring, a marketplace to shop over 800 brands, to create fashionable winter go-to looks! With changing temps and winter approaching, styles are also changing. Here are some fashionable pieces that are perfect for staying warm and still being a sleek-chic-fashionista!
It is currently 75 degrees out and is cooling down for our low of 44 in Arizona today, sunny clear skies just felt like a fresh outfit was needed. I have been dying to wear my Rag & Bone dress, for quiet some time. I added some pieces to make this fresh white dress have a fall personality!
I cannot help but fall in love with suede, especially brown shades of suede. I am the type of person who purchases brown shoes instead of black. To me brown matches with everything. I am trying to wear more black shoes and other colors that aren’t apart of browns, but here is my simple outfit that consists of black and browns. (more…)
I personal am not a fan of animal prints. These boots…well I don’t know if you believe in love at first sight.. but thats what happened to me when I spotted these booties at my local Target (no pun attended😏). (more…)
Here is an OOTD post for a finally breezy day in the fall. Arizona just had a small earthquake this past sunday, and now it is actually cool outside?! Hmm, what is going on? Anyways, Here is a layered neutral look featuring my favorite suede skirt from TjMaxx. I have always been a fan of suede but this skirt has become my favorite. Yes that is a stain on it, because I just dropped salad dressing on it during lunch..did not notice until this picture!
I am pairing this old light sweater top from Forever 21 on top of the skirt and tied it at the end. This just added a little bit of depth and chunky-ness to the outfit. This is not a vest, but it is a button down tunic, that I opened up and wore as a vest. I paired some black suede knee high boots from DSW. To top it off I added some pieces from my Rocksbox! Modern styles today consist of sleek pantsuits, jeans, jumpers, and dresses. Before pants were an everyday wear, women everywhere were forbidden to wear “men’s” clothing. Dress was not only made for women, but men also wore this fashion. Over centuries, the evolution of the women pant slowly became what we see today. Men started to wear trousers and women styles developed into pants later, thanks to economic, environment, religion and social influences. The major push for women into wearing pants were them seeking equality and respectful power.
The evolution from women’s dress to women’s pants was not just a fashion statement, pants changed women and America forever. Freedom in speech, politically, and socially was all achieved thanks to the freedom that pants gave striving women. Pants were the movement throughout history. Although the complete progress took a while, we can idolize those women who stood out throughout in time as well as the styles of pants.
I have so many favorite styles from Free People shoe line and Jeffrey Campbell Free People exclusives. I found some of the most wanted styles except cheaper! “Cheap” as in under $50! Not all of us can or want to spend hundreds of dollar on shoes that may go out of style next month, here are some look a likes I have found to shoes from Free People.
If you liked these dupes make sure you check out my last shoe-dupe post featuring Stuart Weitzman. You can check it out HERE.
Here is an outfit of the day post next to my little barn shed because it just went with the plaid outfit. I am breaking out my favorite boots, is it socially acceptable to wear boots with socks yet? hmm well I am bringing them out today!
